Do you want to get a taste of the conference experience a little closer to home? ALIA QLD mini-conference is back and the theme for this year is: LIBRARY HACKS. You can attend in-person or if you’re feeling adventurous and have something to say, why not submit a paper? See below for more details!
ALIA Queensland would like to hear from you if you are interested in presenting a paper, workshop or other interactive activity at the 2016 Library Hacks Mini Conference.
Submissions will need to reflect the LIBRARY HACKS theme and may include the following ideas:
- Digital Transformation
- Disruptive technologies
- New generation gallery/library/archive/museums
- Service innovation
- Mashups and apps
- Real solutions to real problems
Naturally you are not limited to these suggestions, the only limit is your own experience and imagination!
Please send us an outline (no more than 200 words) of either:
- A 15 minute presentation
- A 30 minute workshop or other interactive activity
Submissions should be made by completing the online form by 16 September 2016. Selected speakers will be advised by 7th October 2016.
