Have you ever wanted to present at a conference? Maybe you’re thinking about submitting to NLS9? There are so many things to consider! How do you navigate submission guidelines, fitting your idea into conference themes, deciding whether to submit a poster, workshop, or presentation, and sticking to a word-count?
ALIA QLD State Manager James Nicholson will lead a panel discussion featuring Maddy Medlycott, Clare Thorpe, and Kathleen Smeaton. They will share their experiences submitting conference proposals and answer any questions you may have about the process. Afterwards, join ALIA Queensland and ALIA Students and New Graduates Group for an evening of networking and nibbles.
Come along to our Resume Review Cafe and take the opportunity to get advice and feedback on your resume from an experienced library and information professional.
