Welcome to our May newsletter.
This month we said goodbye to our ALIA SNGG Co-Convenor Caitlin. We thank her for advocating ALIA SNGG to the #GLAMR sector via Professional Pathways, ALIA NGAC meetings, #GLAMRmatch and SNGG events. We wish you the best on your next adventure and know you will be amazing at it.
There are 2 weeks to go to share your #GLAMRmatch 24 EOIs. On Friday 3rd May we closed our #GLAMRmatch SurveyMonkey (after getting to our 40 response limit). But fear not #GLAMRmatches we are still accepting EOIs via email. Please view this #Update to GLAMRmatch post WordPress link to find a copy of the #GLAMRmatch questions. Register your interest before 31st of May by emailing your EOIs to sngg@alia.org.au including a brief professional bio and answering the listed questions.
#GLAMRRmatch info:
- The #GLAMRmatch team will match emerging professional/student/graduate with mentor/established professional for a professional networking meet-up (online or face-to-face)
- All matches will be sent a ‘How to be a #GLAMRmatch document’, that explains what to do during your meet-up
- Meet-ups will occur in June or July
- Experienced & Established Professionals interested in being a #GLAMRmatch mentor. Please complete all of the #GLAMRmatch questions. On question 10 please select “Other” and indicate that you would like to be a mentor. Or select To support students, graduates and ALIA Members in the GLAMR sector.
- If you identified as an Established or Experience Professional in Q3 you will be the mentor in the #GLAMRmatch chat. Students & graduates will be the mentee in the #GLAMRmatch chat. *If matches are the same the individual with the most experience will take the mentor role in the online or physical meet up

The ALIA National Conference is happiening this May from 6 -10th May. If you can’t travel to South Australia for the National Conference and live in Victoria take a look at joining the ALIA VIC National Wrap Up on 22nd May.
