Want to get engaged with ALIA SNGG?  ALIA Students and New Graduates Group are always on the look out for new social media coordinators to join our growing Facebook, Instagram and blog teams. As well as regional coordinators to run social and professional development events in their home states.

If volunteering on a regular basis is currently not an option for you consider writing a blog post for us. We invite (and strongly encourage!) you to submit guest posts publication here on the SNGG blog.

The annual ALIAWest Great Library Quiz is on again at the State Library of Western Australia – 25 Francis Street, Perth, WA. The quiz will be held on the evening of Thursday 6th December 2018 from 6:00pm to 9:30pm.

ALIA Qld Group End of Year Christmas function – Saturday 24th November, 2018.

The ALIA Queensland Library Technicians’ Group invites all Library and Information Staff to join with us in celebrating Christmas.

The menu will be a plate drop of either “Bacon wrapped chicken breast and Slow cooked beef cheek, also both are gluten free meals.”

Please advise me as soon as possible if you need other dietary needs, please advise me when you respond.

ALIA CPD Scheme Skills Audit Focus Group EOI

Are you an ALIA Student or Graduate Member?

Add to your ALIA CPD Scheme hours by joining the ALIA CPD Scheme Skills Audit Focus Group.

ALIA are in the process of reviewing the ALIA CPD Scheme to meet the ALIA Skills, Knowledge and ethics Framework.

As a member of the ALIA CPD Scheme focus group you can provide feedback on gaps in library skills in the Library and Information Service Workforce.

The Focus Group will begin in March. You can add the 2-3 hours contributing to the Focus Group as ALIA CPD Scheme hours.
