Are you ready to take the next step in your professional development and present at a conference?

The perfect opportunity has arrived! The sixth New Librarians’ Symposium – NLS6 – is coming to Brisbane February 10 – 11, 2013. With mentoring available throughout the process, NLS6 is a great space for first-timers and experienced presenters alike.

We welcome anyone interested in submitting a proposal for NLS6 as well as anyone curious about the general process of creating proposals for conferences or other professional submissions. Our facilitators will get you up to speed on the process including how to write for a theme. Bring the ideas you are working on  but don’t worry if you haven’t found your awesome idea yet. We’ll get you started. This event is designed as a safe space to brainstorm and refine your ideas with experienced peers.

And there will be cupcakes!
