ALIA West celebrated the 2024 F.A. Sharr Award at the State Library of Western Australia. Elena Smirnova was awarded the 2024 F.A. Sharr Award, for her work on the FIFO Library Project. A project that introduces library resources to remote mine sites.

The ALIA West Committee awarded ten ALIA Silver Pins for contribution to the group for 5+ years.

ALIA Member Arthur Downing earned a pin for 60 years of ALIA Membership.
