The ALIA Students and New Graduates Group want to hear from you. 

Our ALIASNGG Executive team is searching for a new Convenor or Co-Convenor to represent the ALIA Students and New Graduates Group in a leadership role.

What will you do?

• Represent ALIA Student and New Graduates Group (ALIA SNGG) at ALIA New Generation Advisory Committee (ALIA NGAC) and ALIA Meetings.
• Support the ALIA SNGG National Secretary.
• Support ALIA SNGG Social Media Coordinators.
• Help promote ALIA SNGG Resume Review Service to ALIA Members.
• Promote ALIA Students and New Graduates Group #GLAMRmatch Event to Students, Graduates and the GLAMR sector.
• Advocate the ALIA Students and New Graduates Group to ALIA Members.
•  Grow interest from students and graduates in Library and Information Services or Information Management to join ALIA as a Personal or Professional Member. 
• Manage the ALIA Students and New Graduates Group LinkedIn page.
• Collaborate with the ALIA SNGG National Secretary and Committee to provide continuing professional development learning for students and graduates.

Soft Skills:

• Effective communication skills
• Teamwork skills
• Conflict resolution
• Adaptability
• Creativity
• Excellent work ethic

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 Teams
•  Slack
•  Zoom
•  Canva design skills
•  LinkedIn 
• Social Media skills in Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
